For Friday's Welcome Party, we kindly request our guests wear white cocktail attire ("tennis whites") to the International Tennis Hall of Fame! For Saturday's Wedding Ceremony & Reception, we’re excited to celebrate with you in style! Our dress code is black tie optional. If a tux is not in your wardrobe, don’t worry—a sharp suit or best formal attire is perfect too. We want everyone to feel comfortable while looking their best for this special occasion!

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including children in the ceremony or reception. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the Welcome Reception on Friday, and Sunday brunch!

Guests can expect late summer weather in New England, with warm temperatures. Typically, the end of August in Newport sees daytime highs around 75-85°F (please pack your sunglasses!) and slightly cooler evenings, with temperatures usually dropping to a mild ~65°F (light sweater for the harbor breeze is recommended).

Our Welcome Reception on Friday night is outdoors on the grass court by the Horseshoe Piazza. The wedding ceremony will be indoors at St. Mary Church, with a short 5 minute walk to the venue. Our cocktail hour will be outside along the waterfront on the Gardiner House Harbor Lawn in the late afternoon, before moving inside to the Gardiner Ballroom for dinner & dancing. (all weather permitting)

For the Welcome Reception, ITHOF does not offer parking onsite, but there is a public lot (pay to park) across the street. St. Mary Church has a parking lot for during the ceremony (overnight parking not permitted), with Gardiner House offering limited parking onsite with valet service.

The bride and groom kindly ask you to please be present with them in this special moment in the church. Personal photography is not permitted during the ceremony.

A completely optional event, we will be continuing the celebration at Gardiner House, moving the party upstairs to the Flora Bar for a DJ set, drinks, light bites and more dancing! (10:30pm to close)
